Hillside sign benefits

I am so happy to hear the sign is staying on our hillside (Aug. 30, “Court Says Big Banner Can Remain”). Pittsburgh has one of the most beautiful hillsides in the country. It is a perfect place for a sign to give messages and information to visitors, as well as all of us who live in the city.

The city can use it to spread city pride, including support of our professional sports teams. The banner can also bring attention to the many things going on in the city.

I am so upset, and frankly surprised, at the people who will argue to get rid of the sign. I think its potential benefits are worth the fight to keep it on Mount Washington.
