PennDOT announced late Tuesday that the ramp from the northbound Highland Park Bridge to southbound Route 28 has reopened to traffic.
The ramp has been closed since early October for reconstruction and drainage improvement.
The ramp will remain open to motorists through the winter. Work requiring the re-closure of the ramp will resume in early spring for approximately two months, PennDOT said. Additional details will be provided prior to the ramp closure.
Additionally, the ramp will have an overhead restriction of 14 feet, 6 inches.
The ramp work is part of the $47.31 million project that will address the existing bottleneck and congested traffic flow on Route 28 at the Highland Park Bridge interchange.
