Powerball jackpot grows to $680 million after 35th straight drawing without a winner

No, you’re not a multimillionaire.

For the 35th consecutive drawing, nobody in the country matched all five numbers plus the Powerball to win a more-than-$600 million jackpot.

Monday night's winning numbers were 23, 45, 54, 35, 18 and a Powerball of 16.

The grand prize for Wednesday night jumped to $680 million, and that number could continue to rise ahead of the drawing. That $680 million would mark the seventh-largest prize in the game’s history.

The jackpot has been growing since the Aug. 3 drawing, when a single ticket jackpot-winning ticket was sold at a Sheetz in New Stanton, Westmoreland County. That win was worth $206.9 million before taxes and was the first Powerball jackpot winner sold in Pennsylvania since March 2018.

For Monday night’s drawing, only three players in all of Pennsylvania matched even four of the five numbers. They each win $50,000.

Across the country, just one player matched five numbers, minus the Powerball. That player in Texas wins $1,000,000.

The Powerball numbers are drawn every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
