Pittsburgh Whittier school closed due to COVID-19 but will be open for voters Tuesday

Pittsburgh Whittier K-5 will be closed to students and staff for the next two days due to COVID-19 mitigation efforts.

This closure comes as the school on Mount Washington has reached the 5% threshold for positive cases of COVID-19.

The elementary facility will be closed Monday evening to allow custodial staff to disinfect the building in preparation for the primacy election.
