Pittsburgh CAPA closes for 3 days after exceeding threshold for COVID cases

Pittsburgh Creative and Performing Arts 6-12 facility will close until Friday due to a high number of COVID-19 cases.

Thirty-eight cases were reported Monday, which exceeded the threshold of 5% for positive cases.

While closed, the building will be disinfected and deep cleaned. No one may enter until Friday, and all special events and activities are canceled.

When doors reopen Friday, all staff, students and visitors will be required to wear masks. That rule will be in place until May 20, unless Allegheny County’s community levels rise to medium.
