More than 1,000 students in the Baldwin-Whitehall School District were sent home early on Monday after a water main break in the area.
Pennsylvania American Water authorities told the district that the schools would be without water for the remainder of the day, according to the district.
High school students were dismissed starting around 10:20 a.m. and middle school students at 11 a.m. The students were expected to attend classes online.
