Two armed teenagers allegedly carjacked a man sitting in his car Tuesday morning in Pittsburgh’s Point Breeze neighborhood, according to police.
The incident happened shortly before 10 a.m. near the intersection of South Braddock Avenue and Waverly Street.
Police said a man was sitting in his parked, running vehicle and was about to get out when two males allegedly opened his car door. The pair allegedly put a gun to the man’s side, threatened him, forced him out of the car and took off.
The vehicle owner was uninjured.
The alleged carjackers eventually crashed in Braddock and ran from the scene. Police described the pair as 16 to 18 years old, one about 5 feet, 8 inches tall and the other about 6 feet tall.
