A man was hospitalized after being shot multiple times Monday evening.
Pittsburgh Public Safety said at about 5:30 p.m., officers were called to a two-round ShotSpotter alert near the intersection of Woods Run Avenue and Brighton Road in Marshall-Shadeland.
A short time after the alert, a man arrived at a local hospital by private vehicle. Police said the man had multiple gunshot wounds, including to his arm, shoulder and leg. Police said the man was in stable condition.
Police said the man was involved in an altercation before the shooting happened. A crime scene was eventually located near the original ShotSpotter alert.
