Pittsburgh police detectives are searching for a recent refugee to the U.S.

Special Victims Unit detectives said the missing man is Mohamed Elhadi Mohamed, 24. He is described as 5 feet 5 inches, 140 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

In a public safety blotter post, police said he was last seen around 11 p.m. on May 22 in the 300 block of Sampsonia Street in the Mexican War Streets.

Police ask anyone with information on his whereabouts to call 412-323-7141 or 911.
