Two people wounded in McKees Rocks shootings

Allegheny County Police have issued an arrest warrant after two people were shot and wounded early Thursday in McKees Rocks.

Around 6:05 a.m. McKees Rocks Police and paramedics responded to the 100 block of Irwin Street for a woman who was shot multiple times inside a residence. She was taken to a hospital in critical condition. Police then learned of a man who walked into a hospital with a gunshot wound after he was shot leaving the residence.

Officers also found a 2-year-old child inside who was unharmed, police said in a release.

On Thursday evening, police said that a warrant has been issued for Timothy Phillips, 57, charging him with aggravated assault, burglary, fleeing and eluding and firearm violations. Police said he is the father of the child.
