Man found fatally shot in Pittsburgh’s Knoxville neighborhood

Police found a man dead Friday morning following a shooting in Pittsburgh’s Knoxville neighborhood.

Officers from the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police Zone 3 responded to a Shotspotter alert in the 200 block of McKinley Street around 7:10 a.m., police said.

First responders found a man dead with multiple gunshot wounds. Police said the suspect left on foot through a nearby alleyway, but they did not identify or describe the alleged shooter.

No one has been charged.

The PBP’s Major Crimes unit processed the scene and continues to investigate, police said.
