Three people were shot and injured Saturday night and Sunday morning in separate incidents in the Hill District, Clairton and Duquesne, police said.
Pittsburgh police responded at about 10:40 p.m. Saturday to a ShotSpotter alert in the 2100 block of Wylie Avenue, where they found a man shot multiple times. He was conscious and taken to the hospital in critical condition. Police are investigating and did not announce any arrests or name any suspects.
At 2 a.m. Sunday, police were called to the 400 block of Saint Clair Avenue in Clairton and found a woman shot in the stomach. She was in critical condition at a hospital, Allegheny County police said.
Also at 2 a.m., officers found a man shot in the shoulder in the 1000 block of Duquesne Boulevard in Duquesne. He was treated at a hospital and released, county police said.
County police did not say whether anyone has been detained or charged in those shootings. They are asking anyone with information about the Clairton or Duquesne shootings to call their anonymous tip line at 833-ALL-TIPS (833-255-8477).
