Man found dead after Northview Heights shooting

A man died after being shot in the head in Northview Heights on Sunday night, according to Pittsburgh police. 

Police responded to a ShotSpotter alert at the 100 block of Penfort Street at 9:40 p.m. Officers found Kenneth A. Wilson, 56, with a gunshot wound to the head, and EMS pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.

No other injuries or descriptions of suspects are known at this time.

The Mobile Crime Unit is at the scene and the investigation is ongoing, according to police.
