A driver was injured when he crashed his pickup truck into a building in North Braddock after he got into a fight at a local tavern and his vehicle was shot at.
Police were called to Baldridge Avenue around 2:30 a.m. Friday for reports of shots fired, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette news partner KDKA-TV reported.
Investigators said the 29-year-old driver had gotten into an altercation with two other men at a local bar on Bell Avenue. When he left to get in his pickup truck, police said someone fired multiple shots at him as he sped away. He was not hit, but several bullets struck his truck; one blew out his rear window.
Moments later officers found the pickup truck, which had at least three bullet holes, had crashed into a vacant building.
No one was wounded in the gunfire; the truck driver was injured from the crash and was taken to a local hospital for treatment, KDKA reported.
Police continue to investigate. No arrests have been made.
