State: Female inmate, 33, died of natural causes

State Department of Corrections officials on Thursday confirmed the death last month of prisoner Kynesha Moore, 33, at the State Correctional Institution Cambridge Springs, in Crawford County.

The Erie County Coroner's Office, which is handling the autopsy, said Thursday that the cause and manner of death had not yet been finally determined.

Moore died Jan. 24, according to the department, which added that the death was from natural causes.

Originally from Philadelphia, she was serving a sentence of six to 12 years for conspiracy to acquire controlled substances through misrepresentation.
