Police ID suspect they say shot a man in dispute over cellphone in McKeesport

A 28-year-old man was shot multiple times Tuesday after he and another man got into a dispute over a cellphone, Allegheny County police said.

The dispute occurred inside a McKeesport home, but when first responders arrived before 9 p.m., they found the victim in the street — in the 400 block of 25th Street — with multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to a Pittsburgh trauma center in critical condition.

Police said they have an arrest warrant for the man they say is responsible for the shooting. Allen Brown, 28, was injured in the altercation and taken to the hospital, where was still undergoing treatment Wednesday night, police said.
