At least one dead in house fire in Westmoreland County

A 74-year-old man died in a house fire Thursday morning in Westmoreland County, authorities said.

The incident occurred about 9 a.m. in the 200 block of Mamont Drive in Washingtown Township.

The county coroner’s office identified the victim as James R. Indovina, a resident of the house.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

An autopsy will determine Mr. Indovina’s cause and manner of death.

The state police fire marshal is investigating the cause of the fire.
