Severe weather warnings expire for Pittsburgh area

Tornado warnings and alerts for severe thunderstorms expired around 8:30 p.m. Saturday as heavy rain passed through the Pittsburgh region.

Meanwhile, severe thunderstorm warnings were issued for areas to the east of Pittsburgh. 

The various warnings delayed the Pirates game for nearly two hours at PNC Park on the North Shore.
