U.S. Attorney Scott Brady on Monday announced his new leadership team and outlined a reorganization of the criminal division of the office.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Stephen Kaufman, who had been chief of the criminal division since 2010, will become the first assistant while Tina Miller, a former assistant U.S. attorney who had most recently been a defense attorney, will become the criminal division chief.
The division will have four units led by veteran prosecutors: Cyber and national security headed by Charles Eberle; economic crimes headed by Nelson Cohen; major crimes headed by Shaun Sweeney; and narcotics headed by Troy Rivetti.
The office previously had three units: National security and cyber crimes headed by Paul Hull; civil rights and corruption headed by Shaun Sweeney and violent crimes headed by Troy Rivetti.
In addition to the new units, Soo Song, who had been the acting U.S. attorney after the departure of former U.S. Attorney David Hickton, will serve as the head of national security for the office, a position she previously held in the District of Arizona.
Mr. Brady said Jennifer Andrade, an assistant U.S. attorney in the civil division since 2008, will now be the chief. Assistant U.S. Attorney Rebecca Ross Haywood will stay in her role as chief of the appellate division.
