Butler woman dies after Sunday motorcycle crash

A Butler woman died today after a motorcycle crash Sunday, according to the Allegheny County medical examiner's office.

Passenger Julie Codispot, 46, was riding with her husband when a vehicle hit their motorcycle at 5:08 p.m. Sunday on Route 19, south of Carpenters Corners Road, in Sandy Creek Township, Mercer County, an office spokesman said.

She had not been wearing a helmet and died today at 12:24 p.m. at UPMC Presbyterian, the spokesman said.
