A U.S. Postal Service distribution center in Marshall is set to partially reopen Friday following a 12-day closure caused by a mercury spill.
The center on Brush Creek Road will resume mail processing Friday, and retail and window operations will commence on Monday.
The closure started when the Pittsburgh Network Distribution Center received an improperly mailed package containing mercury. Mail was then diverted to other processing facilities during the cleanup.
