The North Huntingdon commissioners, and borough councils in Irwin and North Irwin will reorganize during meetings Monday night.
Women will have a 6-1 edge on Irwin council.
Current President Danyce Neal, former councilwoman Virginia DiPrimio and political newcomer Debbie Kelly will be sworn in at a meeting that will start at 5:30 p.m. They were winners in Irwin's first at-large general election Nov. 6. Mrs. Neal will be starting her third term.
They will serve with incumbents Matilda Altman, Peggie Watson, Phyllis Thiem and John Fonzo.
In North Huntingdon, District Judge Douglas Weimer will swear in Seventh Ward incumbent Donald Austin and newcomers Fred Patter, David Herold and Anthony Martino as commissioners at a meeting that will begin at 6:30 p.m. A president and vice president will be elected afterward.
Mr. Patter will take over the Third Ward seat held for 12 years by Thomas Kerber. Mr. Herold, a former township commissioner, will succeed George Fohner, who represented the First Ward for one term.
Mr. Martino moves into the Fifth Ward seat vacated by Tim Hondal, who did not seek re-election.
The township Planning Commission will meet in regular session at 7:30 p.m. Chairman William Chapman, whose term expired Monday, will be reappointed to another four-year term.
North Irwin Mayor Lenny Santimyer will swear in incumbents Bernie Reynolds and Kim Macalus and newcomer Mel Ostrom to council starting at 6:30 p.m. Mr. Reynolds will be starting his third term. Election of a president and vice president will follow.
