A man was hospitalized in critical condition Tuesday night after his vehicle collided with a tractor-trailer in Pittsburgh’s Overbrook neighborhood, according to Pittsburgh Public Safety.
Around 9 p.m., first responders were notified of a collision between a vehicle and a tractor-trailer along Route 51 at Library Road, police said.
The driver of the vehicle was transported to the hospital in critical condition, officials said.
The tractor-trailer driver refused medical attention.
An early investigation showed the vehicle was traveling south when it collided with the tractor-trailer heading north, police said.
Sawmill Run Road was closed for several hours, but it has since reopened.
