What’s open and closed for Juneteenth on Monday in the Pittsburgh area

All City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and federal offices and courts are closed Monday for Juneteenth National Independence Day.

Banks are closed.

State liquor stores normally open Mondays are open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Post offices are closed, with no pickup or delivery of regular mail.

Pittsburgh Regional Transit — formerly the Port Authority of Allegheny County — is running regular bus, T and incline service on Monday, and the customer service line (412-442-2000, or the TTY number, 412-231-7007) is operating from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. The Downtown Service Center is open.

Garbage pickup in the city is being delayed one day.
