Firefighters rescued a man during a house fire in Pittsburgh’s Elliott neighborhood Tuesday morning.

The fire in the 700 block of Walbridge Street was reported around 6:30 a.m. No injuries were reported.

City firefighters told Post-Gazette news partner KDKA-TV that a man in the house was awakened by the fire and managed to escape to the porch roof. Firefighters used a ladder to rescue him.

The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
