Family of Cecil and David Rosenthal push for random acts of kindness

The Rosenthal brothers were victims of a mass shooting at Tree of Life synagogue

The family of Cecil and David Rosenthal placed a full-page advertisement in Sunday's edition of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette urging people to perform random acts of kindness for strangers.

The brothers, who died in the mass shooting on Oct. 27 at Tree of Life synagogue in Squirrel Hill, left a legacy of "love, kindness and acceptance," the ad said.
