Photo report: Pittsburgh Mayor Bob O'Connor remembered at city hall gathering

Mayor William Peduto and the O’Connor family held a tribute to Mayor Bob O’Connor in a ceremony outside the City-County Building Downtown Thursday.

The O’Connor family had requested to have as many former colleagues, staff members, constituents and friends of Bob O’Connor as possible in attendance for the tribute. Remarks were given by O’Connor family members and Mayor Peduto. Pittsburgh radio personality Larry Richert emceed.

O’Connor was the 58th Mayor of the City of Pittsburgh and served in the office  from January 3, 2006 until September 1, 2006. Prior to serving as Mayor, he served as a member of City Council from 1992-2003. The tribute was held on the 10th anniversary of his death
