Parking to be restricted this week on Mon Wharf

Parking will be limited at the Mon Wharf Thursday and Friday because of high water on the Monongahela River as a result of rain and melting snow.

The Pittsburgh Parking Authority said today that no parking will be permitted near the wall of planters close to the river. Parking is available on the rest of the wharf on a first-come, first-serve basis.

The authority recommended commuters use the First Avenue Garage and Second Avenue Plaza lot.
