A Hill District man was shot and killed early yesterday morning after two men forced their way into an apartment in Elmore Square and an argument ensued.
Major Crimes Lt. Kevin Kraus said Shawn Robinson, 32, of Bedford Avenue, was in the apartment at 2109 Elmore Square when two individuals forced their way in at gunpoint and began arguing with him.
As the argument escalated, Mr. Robinson was shot once in the trunk and his assailants fled the building. Mr. Robinson was pronounced dead at the scene.
Lt. Kraus said there were other people in the apartment but would not say how many or whether they witnessed the shooting. He declined to comment on whether the victim knew the shooter or if the city police have any suspects.
