Authorities ID man killed in Homewood hit-and-run

A man was killed in a hit-and-run late Tuesday in Homewood, according to Pittsburgh police.

Pittsburgh Post-Gazette news partner KDKA-TV reported that two women found the man around 11 p.m. in the 7600 block of Kelly Street and flagged down police.

He has been identified as Von Washington, 31, of Pittsburgh.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Ausha Brown, 25, of PIttsburgh, in the fatal hit-and-run of Von Washington, 31, on April 20, 2021, in Homewood.

Arrest warrant issued for woman wanted in fatal Homewood hit-and-run

Police said Mr. Washington was taken in critical condition to a hospital, where he died.

Police said detectives are investigating.
