He didn’t pull up in a “Big Green Tractor,” but Jason Aldean made his presence known Thursday on the North Shore.
The country superstar made an appearance at the private grand opening of Jason Aldean’s Kitchen + Bar around 5 p.m. The restaurant is set to open to the public Friday.
Sporting his signature cowboy hat, the “Try That in a Small Town” singer signed autographs for guests and cut the ribbon in front of the restaurant, which takes the place of the former Jerome Bettis Grille 36.
Aldean’s venue will have a live music stage, plenty of country-style decor — most notably, a large John Deere Tractor centerpiece at the bar — and walls lined with Aldean memorabilia throughout the main dining area.
The restaurant will also be home to an iHeartRadio studio, where country station Big 104.7 and other local stations will broadcast. The studio will air the Kasper Show, a weekday afternoon show, that is broadcast on more than 20 iHeartCountry stations across the U.S.
The North Shore spot is the third in the country, with other locations in Nashville and Gatlinburg, Tenn.
