Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote, P.C., announced the hiring of two attorneys in its real estate practice group. Genevieve A. Pecharka and Bridget K. Sasson have joined the Pittsburgh office as associates. They concentrate their practices in the areas of energy law with a particular emphasis in oil and gas matters. Ms. Pecharka worked as a title abstractor and title reviewer with a national land management corporation prior to joining DMC. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Sasson worked as a title abstractor with a national land management corporation.
Heather S. Heidelbaugh, partner, Leech Tishman, was selected as the 2015 recipient of the Republican National Lawyers Association Betty Murphy Award and as a 2015 Woman of Achievement by the Allegheny County District Attorney’s Office. Ms.Heidelbaugh focuses her practice on commercial litigation matters.
McGuireWoods said Penny E. Zacharias joined as a partner. She focuses on debt financing and secured transactions, including origination of asset-based and acquisition financing and leveraged finance transactions. Ms. Zacharias comes to McGuireWoods from Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney, where she began her career in 2002.
Fox Rothschild LLP said Susan Foreman Jordan, partner, was named Pittsburgh’s 2015 Lawyer of the Year for Employee Benefits Law by Best Lawyers. She serves as co-chair of the firm’s employee benefits practice.
Rothman Gordon said Ryan P. Stewart joined the firm. Mr. Stewart concentrates his practice on business and commercial litigation matters. He earned his law degree from the University of Pittsburgh.
Eckert Seamans Cherin & Mellott, LLC announced Marlene J. Bidelman joined as a member in the real estate finance group. She rejoins the firm after having served previously as an associate prior to her relocation to Chattanooga, Tenn., where she practiced for 10 years.
