Monroeville Mall is sold for $34 million

The Monroeville Mall has been sold.

Chattanooga-based CBL Properties said Friday that it sold the mall for $34 million. The company did not identify the buyer.

Stephen D. Lebovitz, CBL’s chief executive officer, said the sale “allows us to focus efforts on higher productivity properties, generates significant cash proceeds and further reduces leverage.”
