A new cowboy has arrived on the North Shore, with a big green tractor and much more.
Jason Aldean’s Kitchen + Bar, which is set to open on March 22, held a series of soft openings this week for guests to experience the newly renovated space and its future offerings. The new venue will have a live music stage, plenty of country-style decor — most notably, a large John Deere Tractor centerpiece at the bar — and walls lined with Jason Aldean memorabilia throughout the main dining area.
“I’m proud to have a permanent destination where fans can stay connected to my music, hear great country music any day of the week, and sit back and enjoy some of my favorite food and drinks,” Mr. Aldean said in a prepared statement. “I can’t wait to get up there soon to celebrate with Pittsburgh. It’s going to be a great time.”
TC Restaurant Group, the parent company of Tequila Cowboy, and Mr. Aldean announced last month that the restaurant and bar will take over the 10,000 square-foot location at 393 North Shore Drive that formerly housed Jerome Bettis Grill 36, which closed during the pandemic.
Around 100 employees have been hired to work there, TC Restaurant Group officials said.
The restaurant will also be home to an iHeartRadio studio, where country station Big 104.7 and other local stations will broadcast. The studio will air the Kasper Show, a weekday afternoon show, that is broadcast on more than 20 iHeartCountry stations across the U.S.
“Here in Pittsburgh, we want to be the destination for country music fans to make real connections with artists and fellow fans,” TC Restaurant Group President Adam Hesler said. “This partnership will aid us in booking top performing acts to feature on showcase broadcasts and allow fans to continually connect with our venue even when they can’t make it in person.”
Jason Aldean’s Kitchen + Bar’s North Shore location will be its third in the country, with venues already in Nashville and Gatlinburg, Tenn.
TC Restaurant Group operates a number of other restaurant and entertainment venues, including FGL House, Luke Bryan’s 32 Bridge Food + Drink, Miranda Lambert’s Casa Rosa, Luigi’s City Pizza, Sun Diner, and WannaB’s Karaoke Bar.
