Diane Williams was selected as the third holder of Duquesne University's Anna Rangos Rizakus Endowed Chair in Health Sciences and Ethics. Ms. Williams, associate professor of speech-language pathology in the Rangos School of Health Sciences, focuses on autism and language disorders, incorporating functional magnetic resonance imaging to study thought and language processing differences, drawing volunteers from across the country to her studies.

Awards and Honors

Gil Davis, managing director, CSD Financial and partner, Case | Sabatini received a Five Star Wealth Manager Award, acknowledging him as one of the top wealth managers in client satisfaction by Pittsburgh Magazine for the 5th year in a row.

Charles E. Bunch, chairman and CEO, PPG Industries, received the ICIS Kavaler Award, sponsored by The Chemists' Club, in recognition for outstanding achievement as voted on by his peers.

Bayer employee David Hanne was selected to receive a donation to support his church's mission outreach programs to serve the homeless in Allegheny County and a church mission trip to West Virginia. To commemorate 150 years of Bayer, the Bayer Cares Foundation is supporting 150 current and retired Bayer employee volunteerism projects that will improve lives in Bayer communities around the world. Mr. Hanne, received a $2,600 grant for the Christian Assembly Church in Industry, Pa.

Pete Schlicht, a financial adviser and associate vice president of Amerprise Financial Services Inc., was recognized in the July issue of the Pittsburgh Magazine as a 2013 Five Star Wealth Manager.

Anita Caufield, president, Forecast Technology Group Inc., received the University of Pittsburgh's 2013 Graduate School of Public Health alumni award "For Teaching and Dissemination" for significant contributions to education and dissemination.
