Flood warnings have been issued for Armstrong, Clarion, Indiana and Jefferson counties after three inches of rain fell in the past 24 hours in parts of the region.
The National Weather Service said another inch of rain is expected through the afternoon because of slow moving showers and isolated thunderstorms.
The warnings are in effect until 4:45 p.m.

Flash flood warnings have been issued for Cambria and Clearfield counties after up to an inch and a half fell within one hour this morning.
The National Weather Service reported that flooding was reported along Route 219 near Mahaffey.
The warning is in effect into the afternoon.
