Hill District man killed by multiple shots

A Hill Distrtict man was fatally shot when he stepped outside of an apartment on Bedford Avenue in the Hill District early this morning.

The Allegheny County Medical Examiner's office identified the victim as Donald Royster, 23, of the Hill District.

Pittsburgh Police said Mr. Royster was shot multiple times after the stepped outside of the residence at about 2:50 a.m. Police have no motive or suspects at this time.
