WQED-FM back on the air

WQED-FM is back to full power. It had been broadcasting at low power since Thursday due to a problem with the transmission line on its tower.

Bad weather made it too dangerous for work on the tower, which is located on a hill above the Petersen Events Center in Oakland. WQED Multimedia spokesman George Hazimanolis said the problem was fixed at 6 p.m. Monday.
