August Wilson Cultural Center closed for renovations through Jan. 12

The August Wilson Cultural Center will be closed to the public through Jan. 12, while the entry level flooring is being resurfaced.

The building at 980 Liberty Ave., Downtown, will reopen on Jan. 13, and the galleries resume regular operating hours on Jan. 16.

The AWCC is host to “Poetry Unplugged,” a night of music, poetry and activism, on Jan. 18. For more information on events and exhibitions visit aacc-awc.org.
