Two very different shows hitting Pittsburgh later this year were announced on Tuesday.
Alice Cooper/Judas Priest to play The Pavilion at Star Lake
In the first, Alice Cooper and Judas Priest announced they will play The Pavilion at Star Lake on Oct. 1.
Tickets will first be made available via artist presale starting on Wednesday, April 16 at 10 a.m. and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at livenation.com.
The two bands were part of the Operation Rock & Roll tour together in 1991 in support U.S. forces during the Gulf War.
Wilco tour coming to Heinz Hall
Wilco will bring its summer tour, entitled An Evening with Wilco, to Heinz Hall on Aug. 6.
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at wilcoworld.net.
The Jeff Tweedy-led, indie-rock band is touring behind the 2023 album โCousinโ and last yearโs โHot Sun Cool Shroudโ EP.
It also recently released a CD boxed set of 2004โs โA Ghost Is Bornโ and is dropping an expanded three-LP version of 2010โs โThe Whole Loveโ on May 2.
Wilco will be on three dates this summer with Willie Nelson, Bob Dylan, Lucinda Williams, and Waylon Payne on the Outlaw Music Festival tour.
