Best Pittsburgh concerts this week: Phish, LeAnn Rimes, Ski Mask the Slump God, Marcus King Band

MONDAY

LeAnn Rimes: The country star was only 14 when she won her first Grammy, so it seems like she’s been around forever, and she’s only 37. In those years, she’s recorded 11 albums and sold nearly 40 million worldwide. The Mississippi-born, Texas-raised singer is on the “You and Me Christmas Tour,” hitting The Event Center at Rivers Casino, North Shore. 7:30 p.m. $35; riverscasino.com.

Phish: How many bands could play 237 songs over 13 nights, in a row, and not repeat a single song? Probably just one. You never know what you’re going to get at a Phish concert, aside from the guaranteed heady jams. The successors to the Dead, formed at the University of Vermont in 1985, return to the Petersen Events Center as part of a six-show fall tour, two years after having played on the Pitt campus. Thus far on the tour, Phish has covered Jimi Hendrix’s “Fire,” TV on the Radio’s “Golden Age,” the James Gang’s “Walk Away” and Talking Heads’ “Cities,” alongside songs from the band’s 14 albums, the latest being 2016’s “Big Boat.” 7:30 p.m. A few tickets left at $63; ticketmaster.com.

Silversun Pickups: The shoegaze-y LA alt-rock band, very much in the vein of Smashing Pumpkins, is on the road with a fifth album, “Widow’s Weeds,” produced by Butch Vig, known for his work with the Pumpkins, Nirvana and Sonic Youth. Not surprisingly, it has a pretty hefty sonic crunch to go with its themes of “rebirth and renewal.” “This was the first album where we were open,” frontman Brian Aubert said in a statement. “We were exposed. I see how that can be scary to people, but for us we really thrived on that.” With The Griswolds. Roxian, McKees Rocks. 8 p.m. $29.50; roxianlive.com.

Blood, Sweat & Tears: The former member list of the New York band behind the late ’60s hits “You've Made Me So Very Happy,” “Spinning Wheel” and “And When I Die” reads like the phone book of a small town. The current version of the band, directed by founding drummer Bobby Colomby (who no longer tours), has Keith Paluso, who was a contestant on Season 15 of “The Voice,” doing his best to recreate David Clayton-Thomas’ vocals. Palace Theatre, Greensburg. 8 p.m. $57.50-$63.50 ($5 additional at the door).

Ski Mask the Slump God: Stokeley Goulbourne, better known as Ski Mask the Slump God, grew up in Florida and was inspired by artists like Busta Rhymes, Missy Elliot and Lil Wayne. In 2013, he met XXXTentacion at a juvenile detention center while serving time for marijuana possession and came out forming the group Very Rare, followed by Members Only. By 2016 he was releasing his own mixtapes and was named to XXL's 2018 Freshman Class. Last year, he hit No. 6 on the charts with debut album “Stokeley,” which Pitchfork deemed “a thrill because at no point can you predict what’s coming next; its energy is the only constant.” The Stokeley tour brings him to Stage AE, North Shore, with Pouya, DJ Scheme and Danny Towers. Doors at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $35; ticketmaster.com.

Secret Eyes: This explosive alt-rock band from DuBois, which evolved out of the more metalcore Ahimsa Sunrise in 2014, releases a new album, “Holding On,” with a show at Mr. Smalls, Millvale. With Ovtlier, Saving Vice, Haven State, Danvers. 7 p.m. $15; ticketweb.com.

FRIDAY

Night Ranger: The San Francisco band best known for the 1984 power ballad “Sister Christian” still rolls with three original members, including singer-bassist Jack Blades. They are on the road performing their first two albums, “Dawn Patrol” and “Midnight Madness,” in their entirety. Roxian Theatre, McKees Rocks. 8 p.m. roxianlive.com.

SATURDAY

Marcus King Band: This will be something a little different from the Southern rock band led by the young guitarslinger from Greenville, S.C. On the El Dorado Tour, King is unveiling songs from “El Dorado,” a new solo album, produced by Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys, that will be released on Jan. 17. The first single, “Wildflowers & Wine,” has King doing his best Al Green before going into a solo that sounds like another King: B.B. The 8 p.m. show at Mr. Smalls, Millvale, is sold out.

Sullivan King: The walls of the Roxian are going to shake, along with the entire block, when the LA producer/guitarist absolutely pummels fans with his bombastic mix of metal and dubstep, as heard on debut album “Show Some Teeth.” With Eliminate, Grabbitz. 8 p.m. $25; roxianlive.com.

Cautious Clay: The Cleveland singer-songwriter with the soulful, ethereal voice got quite the career boost when his song “Cold War” was sampled on “London Boy,” a track on the latest Taylor Swift album. He recently collaborated with John Mayer on “Swim Home,” a song from the “13 Reasons Why” Season 3 soundtrack. He plays the Thunderbird Cafe & Music Hall, Lawrenceville, at 8 p.m. with Remi Wolf. $18; roxianlive.com.

Antonio Hart Sextet: While recording eight albums under his own name, Baltimore saxophonist Antonio Hart has worked more than 100 sessions, sitting in with the likes of Roy Hargrove, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Terence Blanchard, Dizzy Gillespie and McCoy Tyner. His 1997 release “Here I Stand,” was nominated for a best jazz instrumental solo Grammy. The saxophonist, who studied at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, brings the Antonio Hart Sextet to the New Hazlett Theater, North Side, at 8 p.m. $35; newhazletttheater.org.

Joe Grushecky and the Houserockers: Harmonica blazer Marc Reisman, who left the Iron City Houserockers in the early ’80s to pursue a legal career, rejoins the band for an encore edition of the 40th Anniversary of “Love’s So Tough.” The Pittsburgh legends will play the gritty 1979 album, which included the title track, “Turn it Up” and “Hideaway,” in its entirety. Club Cafe, South Side. 8 p.m. $20; clubcafelive.com.

HughShows Secret Santapalooza IV: The annual show, presented by Deutschtown Music Festival and Misra Records, has the brilliant hometown concept of Pittsburgh bands covering songs of other Pittsburgh bands. It’s at the Kollar Club, 3226 Jane St., South Side. Free, but donations accepted for HughShows, run by organizer Hugh Twyman. 21 and over. Here is the lineup:
