ZZ Top suspends current tour, cancels Palace Theatre date

ZZ Top has canceled the remaining dates on its current Tonnage Tour 2017, including the Nov. 1 show at the Palace Theatre in Greensburg, while bassist Dusty Hill deals with a medical issue.

The band released the following statement:

“ZZ Top’s current tour are temporarily suspended and are arranged for immediate rescheduling. ZZ’s cornerstone bass guitarist, Mr. Dusty Hill, is addressing a tummy ailment and is following a directive to lay low for the next few weeks. Whew!

The band rocks 2018 and to then blow it out in 2019 as they celebrate a big “50”…! Once-in-a-millennium.”

According to the band’s publicist, they will try to book a replacement date for next year. Ticket holders will be notified of the rescheduled date once it is confirmed.
