Comedy legend Adam Sandler will bring his tour — Adam Sandler Live — to PPG Paints Arena on Feb. 8.
Tickets go on sale at noon Friday at livenation.com.
In 2018, Sandler, who came to fame upon joining “Saturday Night Live” as a 24-year-old in 1990, released “100% Fresh,” his first comedy special in 20 years. His films, which include comedies (“Billy Madison,” “Happy Gilmore”) and dramas (“Uncut Gems,” “Hustle”), have grossed more $3 billion worldwide.
On March 19, at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C., the 56-year-old Brooklyn native will receive The Mark Twain Prize for American Humor, an award that has gone to such stars as George Carlin, Carl Reiner, Richard Pryor, Billy Crystal and Ellen DeGeneres.
"Adam Sandler has entertained audiences for over three decades with his films, music, and his tenure as a fan favorite cast member on 'SNL,"' said Kennedy Center President Deborah F. Rutter in a statement. "Adam has created characters that have made us laugh, cry, and cry from laughing."
