Vigil honors memory, work of author Jeffrey ‘Boosie’ Bolden

A vigil honoring the memory and work of author Jeffrey “Boosie” Bolden was held Friday in Pittsburgh’s Garfield neighborhood.

Bolden, who became a recognized figure in the city’s literary community during his time at Chatham University, died Tuesday after being struck by a vehicle in Mississippi.

His memoir/essay collection "Wolves" is scheduled for release from Tolsun Books this November.
