Penguins defenseman Christian Ehrhoff "has been given a clean bill of health" according to his agent, Rick Curran.
Ehrhoff, who sustained at least two concussions this past season, missed 33 of the Penguins' final 39 games, including five in the playoffs.
After joining the Penguins as a free agent a year ago in the offseason, Ehrhoff appeared in 49 games and scored 14 points (3 goals, 11 assists). Carrying a salary cap hit of $4 million, he is scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent July 1.
Ehrhoff, 32, said he was interested in re-signing with the Penguins at the team's final interviews with media April 26.
