WDUQ-FM (90.5) has several specials lined up for the holiday weekend. Today, a special from the producers of "HumanKind" explores how Americans face adversity and overcome it. "American Resilience" airs at 9 a.m.
And what's a patriotic holiday without a little political satire? "The Capitol Steps' Fourth of July Special" airs today at 2:30 and 7 p.m.
On the July Fourth edition of "Rhythm Sweet & Hot," hosts Dale Abraham and Mike Plaskett will play music with a summer theme, along with a tribute to the circus music composed by Pittsburgh native Billy May. "Rhythm Sweet & Hot's Summertime Celebration" airs tomorrow from 7 to 10 p.m.
Sunday at 6 p.m., "Backstory With the American History Guys" traces the history of the Fourth of July holiday.
