Interstate 79 southbound has been fully re-opened to traffic after a truck accident led restrictions.

Traffic had been reduced to a single lane this morning, just north of the Mt. Nebo Exit, due to a tractor trailer crash.

PennDOT had advised motorists to consider using the Parkway North (I-279) to avoid the congestion.

The wreckage has been cleared, and the highway was re-opened to all traffic around 10 a.m.
