The Pittsburgh Marathon will hold an early registration for next year's race starting at midnight tonight.

Runners that register within 24 hours of the early registration period will save $10. Next year's race will take place on May 2, 2010.

The regular prices for registration are as follows: $75 through Nov. 28; $80 from Nov. 29-Jan.30; $90 from Jan. 31-April 18; and $100 from April 19-May 1.

Runners of the half-marathon can sign up for $60 through Nov. 28; $65, $75 and $85. One new event next year is a five-person relay. The prices for registering for that event are $160 through Nov. 28; $185, $210 and $220.
