A 20-year-old Kittaning woman was killed in a crash at the intersection of Toy and Claypoole roads in Armstrong County early yesterday.

State police at Kittaning said Heather Walker failed to stop at a stop sign, struck a tree, and was thrown from the car into a field and over an embankment sometime between 2 and 4 a.m. She was not wearing a seat belt.
