The Penguins announced the signings of three forwards today.

Kris Beech agreed to a one-year contract. Beech played for the Columbus Blue Jackets and the Penguins last season, scoring 11 points in 25 games. Claimed off waivers by the Penguins in January, Beech, 27, played in five games before a broken wrist ended his season.

The Penguins also re-signed Ryan Stone, 23, to a one-year contract. Stone played in six games for the Penguins last season and 88 (including playoffs) for the club's Wilkes-Barre/Scranton affiliate.

Fox Chapel High School graduate Bill Thomas signed a one-year contract. He played in seven games for the Phoenix Coyotes last season. He had 17 points in 40 career games with Phoenix.
